Buying diamonds directly — what it means
Direct diamond acquisition — bypassing the traditional dealer network — requires the right documentation, settlement structures, and logistics. For rough diamonds, Kimberley Process certificates are mandatory. For polished stones, independent grading reports (GIA, HRD, IGI) are the standard. For significant gems, a specialist valuer's report may be required by your bank or insurer.
OnePiece structures transactions with bank escrow or bonded carrier delivery — the buyer pays when goods are confirmed by an independent party, not before. Our sellers understand this and price accordingly. We do not facilitate transactions where the buyer is expected to pay before verifying the goods.
